Rhythm is enjoyable because it reflects natural movement of the human body. Rhythm can also add emotional pleasure. A regular rhyme helps the memory for recitation and gives predictable pleasure. Although when choosing to write in rhyme you must be careful to not let the rhyme scheme dictate the story or feel forced.
